The national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC John Oyegun says the party remains strong and united to deliver on its electoral promises to Nigerians.
Oyegun
said this shortly after the national caucus meeting of the party, which
held at the banquet hall of the presidential villa.
He told reporters that Monday night's meeting which was attended by President Muhammadu Buhari was fruitful and engaging.
The newly
appointment secretary to the government of the federation, boss
Mustapha who was also at the meeting said he is prepared to hit the
ground running in his new assignment.
Senate
President Bukola Saraki, speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu
Dogara and other principal officers in the national assembly on the
platform of the APC were in attendance at the meeting.
Also in
attendance were Bola Tinubu, Bisi Akande, state governors and ministers
on the APC platform as well as other party bigwigs.
The caucus meeting is a prelude to the national executive committee meeting of the APC holding on Tuesday in Abuja.
